CAOLA was founded by the Capital Area Intermediate Unit 15, a Pennsylvania ESA, in 2009. The goal of the program was to help districts offer online learning programs to students.
The CAOLA program partners with other ESA’s in Pennsylvania and other states to offer a cost effective online learning model. The goal of the program is to enable other ESA’s to offer the same high quality curriculum and services to their local districts.
The program has proven students success and is now reaching over 3,900 students.
